Compliance and security policies: ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS and GDPR

We implement and audit the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, PCI DSS and GDPR with a practical approach: controls your team can operate and evidence an auditor can verify.

What is included

  • Gap analysis against the chosen standard or framework
  • Scope definition for the management system and for cardholder or personal data
  • Policies, procedures and records ready to operate
  • Risk analysis and treatment (ISO/IEC 27005)
  • Privacy management (ISO/IEC 27701) and GDPR requirements
  • Internal audit and preparation for the certification or assessment audit

This is for you if

  • A customer or contract requires ISO 27001 or PCI DSS
  • You process personal data of European Union residents
  • You want certification to be the result of operating well, not a documentation project

How we do it

  1. Gap analysis

We compare your current situation with the requirements and define what is missing, with owners and timelines.

  2. Controls and policy design

We write the minimum that applies to your operation, not a pile of documents nobody follows.

  3. Guided implementation

We work with your team so the controls operate and produce their own evidence.

  4. ISO 27001 internal audit and readiness

We verify compliance before the external audit and close the nonconformities.

What you receive

  • Gap report
  • Statement of applicability and risk treatment plan
  • Policies and procedures
  • Records and evidence of controls
  • Internal audit report

  • ISO/IEC 27701

Controls audit and security governance

Sectors served

  • Government
  • Aviation
  • Banking
  • Private sector

Services offered / delivered

  • Diagnosis of security governance and controls
  • Drafting of policies and guidelines
  • Inspection of physical and environmental controls

Context

This experience consolidates controls reviews, document drafting and physical inspections. These were separate engagements that fed into security governance.

Documented interventions

  • Review of controls and responsibilities through interviews, documentation and checklists.
  • Drafting of access, secure development, network, password and acceptable use policies in the engagements that included that service.
  • Inspection of physical, environmental and operational conditions at the facilities assessed.

Documented results

  • Guidelines and documents on responsibilities and operation were delivered in the document-based consulting projects.
  • The assessments and inspections recorded responses and observed conditions, with recommendations bound by the scope of each report.

Scope of the result

We do not claim ISO certification, full compliance or operational adoption of every policy. An inspection describes conditions observed, not permanent compliance.

Methodology

Document review, interviews, checklists and on-site inspection, depending on the engagement.

Sectors served

  • Legal
  • Private sector

Services offered / delivered

  • Microsoft 365 audit and remediation
  • Email protection and identity controls
  • Firewall and service reconfiguration, depending on scope

Context

This group covers engagements to review and adjust email, identity and connectivity-security configurations.

Documented interventions

  • Review of accounts, privileges, authorized applications and email protection settings.
  • Application of documented changes to authentication, permissions and publishing controls.
  • Record of close-outs, partial mitigations and dependencies on infrastructure or licensing.

Documented results

  • There are reports with changes applied and close-outs recorded, alongside items that were mitigated or remain pending.
  • The documentation distinguishes email and identity controls from residual infrastructure tasks and from data policies that remain in monitoring.

Scope of the result

Remediation is not presented as complete where dependencies or partial items remain. A DLP rule in monitoring mode is not described as preventive blocking.

Methodology

Configuration audit, documented changes and validation of controls based on the evidence available.

Frequently asked questions

Does SoluProTec issue the ISO 27001 certification?

No. Certification is issued by an accredited certification body. We prepare the implementation, the documentation and the internal audit so you reach that audit with your controls operating.

How long does it take to implement ISO 27001?

It depends on the scope, the size of the organization and the starting maturity. After the gap analysis we define a plan with phases and owners.

Does GDPR apply to a company in Panama?

It can apply if you offer goods or services to people in the European Union or monitor their behavior, even when your company is based outside it. We review it against your case. This answer is general guidance and not legal advice.
